House Points

Year 7 to 11 are involved in the House Points system.  Year 7-10 collect House Points in their planners.  Teachers will have a stamp, and students will collect stamps in their planners.  Each stamp is worth 25 House Points

 Students can gain House Points in various ways as shown below.

100% Attendance No absences or Lates 25 Points awarded by the Tutor
Good Behaviour No detention  25 Points awarded by the Tutor.
Good Homework Homework completed to the standard equivalent to the student’s predicted grade or higher 25 Points
Commendable Actions For example: Good work: Improved attitude: Determination 25 Points
Coursework
(Year 10 & 11)
If coursework is completed on time then the students is awarded 200 Points
Revision
(Year 11 only)
If a student attends a school focus or revision session then the student is rewarded 100 Points per session

House Point Rewards

These are the rewards that students will get depending on the amount of House Points they collect.  Each year students will start from zero points.

500 Points Canteen Voucher
1000 Points  Stylish Pen
2500 Points Stationery Set/Art Pens
5000 Points  School Memory Stick
6000 Points Name in £100 Prize Draw
Every further 1000 points Further Prize Draw Tickets

Students will also be issued with certificates. 
A trophy will be displayed in the school reception with house colours for the winning house, each half term. So make sure you support your house!

Year 11

Year 11 will use a separate booklet, following the same reward system.

The rewards for Year 11 will include:-

  • Half price year book
  • Half price prom ticket
  • Entry into a £150, cash draw, drawn at the prom
