What It Involves.

Job Description: Internationalism and Development Education Co-ordinator

1. Work in close partnership with link co-ordinators in partner schools to sustain the friendship and collaboration between our schools and achieve the aims of the links.
2. Stimulate, organise and resource curriculum development projects within both schools.
3. Lead the Global Links Working Group.
4. Develop, motivate and support The Global Club.
5. Manage the International Teacher Exchange programme.
6. Develop contacts and relationships with agencies involved in International linking, Development education and school links.
7. Secure funding for all projects by exploiting the full range of possible sources, e.g. commercial sponsors, school and community donations, NGOs, and other charitable organisations.
8. Achieve a high profile for the project within and beyond the schools through termly newsletter, Global display board, media, attendance at conferences etc.
9. Provide appropriate advice and support to ensure success of all projects.
10. Develop the student exchange programme.
11. Ensure the garden flourishes
