The third Christmas Auction was once again, a great success, with over 50 lots donated for the evening! The lots ranged from the very ‘cheap’ signed Wayne Rooney shirt, to the very expensive signed Everton shirt !

The Parents Liaison Committee would like to thank everyone who made a donation for the Auction. The response from parents and local businesses was once again excellent. 

One of the other highlights of the evening was the music provided by Chloe Blackwell, Vicky Gordon, Lucy Shorthouse, Vicky Aris and Andrew Edwards. They were truly fantastic!

The Parents Associations would also like to express thanks to Jonathon Jones, Tom Wadsworth, Aimee Carter, James Banks, Tim Butcher and Jacob Pallett for their help in producing the evening.

We were also fortunate to acquire the services of an ex student Steven Iredale to act as our Auctioneer. Steven now works for Bamfords Ltd, Auctioneers and Valuers. He is now regularly seen on T.V. in this role and it was very much appreciated by everyone at Polesworth, that he was prepared to give up his time to the school.

Finally, the Parents Associations of all 4 Houses would also like to pass on thanks to the following:- All members of the School Finance Team, for all their work on the night.
All members of the School Administration Team for supplying all Mr Williams’ paperwork! The Red Lion for bar facilities.
Mr J Everett (Assistant Caretaker) for allowing us to stay late!
