Key Points for GCSE, Certificate of Achievement, and SATs

  • Best ever Certificate of Achievement results with numerous distinctions and merits.
  • Significant improvement in "Short Course" GCSE C grades and above.
  • Best ever 5 A*- C (including English and Maths) 3rd best ever 5 A*- C (including all subjects).
  • Possible best ever SATs results across the core 3 subjects.
  • Contextual value added score likely to be highest ever.

Key Points for Tomlinson Hall Sixth Form Results

  • A Level entry highest ever with 78 students sitting 300+ units.
  • A Level pass rate of 97% beating National average again.
  • A Level Grades A and B record attained with 39% (33% 2005).
  • AS entry highest ever with students sitting record 482 unit entries AS pass rate of 88% (82%, 2005), 34% A and B grades (28%, 2005) and 12% Unclassified (16.5%, 2005).
  • Excellent Vocational results with 100% pass rate at both Levels, across all subjects.
