The school’s Under 15 National Individual Novices Champion Dominic Jones, and the Under 19 Novices Team National Champions, Ying Huang, James Bagnall, Todd Chamberlain and Jarrod Chamberlain were invited to attend this prestigious event, which is the highlight of schools sports in Warwickshire.

The evening was hosted by Gavin Peacock, the one-time of Chelsea FC, and now BBC Football Commentator. Polesworth’s Under 19 Trampolining Team were amongst three nominations for the award of Secondary School Sport Team of the Year. This was because of their amazing achievement of being, County, Midlands, Central Zone and National Champions all in the same year. The boys were overjoyed at being announced as winners of the award for being the top sports team in the county.

Dominic Jones was one of the three individuals nominated for Secondary Male Sports Person of the Year for his outstanding performance at becoming both the Central Zone and Individual National Champion. Dominic Received the Highly Commended award behind the winner, international athlete Nathan Woodward.
